Lynn United vs. International SC

Lynn United hosted International SC at Manning Bowl Stadium on April 21st, 2018 for week 2 of UPSL play. International SC opened the scoring when club owner, Jared Barbosa used his head to redirect a cross sent in by Ben Noelk which eventually found Quincy Appah who half-volleyed it into the back of the net. Lynn United responded in the 24th minute of the match scoring a goal off of a cross into the penalty-kick area. International SC was able to take the lead once again in the 32nd minute, when Quincy Appah curled in a free-kick passed the Lynn United wall and goalkeeper. Quincy Appah was able to complete his hat-trick in the 34th minute, when Jared Barbosa played him a thru-ball setting him up with a 1-v-1 situation with the goalkeeper. Despite a 2 goal deficit, Lynn United were not going to go down with a fight and managed to create many opportunities in the second half of play, including a goal in the 62nd minute.
International SC will continue their 2018 UPSL season on the road against Juve-Pro Soccer on Saturday, April 21st, 2018. The venue is yet to be determined.
